Because real men play bass

Sammenhold

I thought I would share this new article with you because it's a powerful, graphic iteration of the kind of hate we face in the Muslim world. Gone are the days when Muslims terrorized and attacked us from afar. Today, they are in our very midst, walking among us, living near us, and worshipping in our neighborhoods. The threat of terror and hate is more real than ever.

Two years ago, you might remember this story. Muslims were up in arms, literally, over a handful of admittedly humorous cartoons.

Well, this week, five men have been arrested in connection with plot to murder one of the cartoonists.

In a show of sammenhold, papers across Europe have reprinted the cartoon in question.

Many people have said the cartoons never should have been printed, and that we should seek to understand Muslims and engage them in dialogue. Those same people apparently have no problem stifling free speech. Praytell, how exactly does one talk to a Muslim, or come to some sort of understanding with them? They want us dead and/or converted - period. Their starting point is our demise, no matter what sort of concessions we offer, or what promises we make. In the end, our death and/or conversion is their goal. No, you cannot negotiate with them. You cannot understand them. You cannot talk to them.

This recent development is a great sign that all is not yet lost in Europe. The mighty Danes have shown great resistance to the intolerant, hate-filled Muslims, and I am happy to stand in sammenhold with them.

What will America do when our time comes?

Environmentalism and it Disciples

Here's a little nugget of wisdom to chew over today:

Global warming has all the elements of a religion: creation of the divine (Gaia), original sin (modern man), a Garden of Eden (Pangaea and the "pristine" planet) -- and then it's got penance (Algore, creator and expositor of carbon credits)! The most important element that it has is faith, because the people who believe in it can't prove it.

Which Way Will You Choose?

The irony of this is just too much to pass up. Think long and hard about your choice this November.
